Parchment paper has been the staple of the baking industry for years. Over the last several years bakers have taken notice of the environmental concerns the various parchment grades have had.
True Vegetable Parchment is actually no longer made in North America due to the environment concerns it brings while being made. Parchment paper is made with sulfuric acid or zinc chloride. This bath of chemicals that the paper sits in, dissolves the surfaces of the paper, which creates a cross-linked surface which provides the increase in heat resistance which is the major benefit of Parchment paper.
The “poor-mans” parchment or Quilon coated parchment has also come under fire in recent years as well. Due to the Chromium that is used in producing the coating can make this product somewhat questionable. Quilon has been grandfathered by the FDA that is why it is still widely used.
With all the health and environment concerns the industry was pushed through innovation to find a safer alternative.

Silicone Coated Baking Paper And Its Benefits.
We have partnered with leading manufacture in the Silicone coating space in providing this type of paper. This paper can with stand the same temperatures of Parchment and even up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
We can coat 1 side or both sides. By coating only 1 side opens the possibility for printing on the other side as well. But most important the finished product exceeds the extremely stringent food safety specifications laid out by the FDA.
You get all the benefits of Parchment by not having your items stick to the sheet or the cooking pan. Silicone is a perfect release agent due to its natural lack of toxins, high insulation ability, heat resistant capability and its pliability.
The value here is the cost of silicone coated baking paper is much lower than parchment paper with fewer potential health and environment issues than a Quilon coated sheet with Chromium.
With lower cost, it makes it perfect for single-use baking of frozen dough or bakery items.

Can be used to eliminate the need to grease sheet pans etc. thus increasing production of baking products.
Wax Paper Replacement
With its heat resistance and low surface energy, makes it a perfect replacement for Wax paper, where this will not burn or smoke at normal baking temperatures.
When non-stick application is needed, the Silicone coating makes for a non sticking baking surface. We can provide a coating on one or both sides with a differential if needed.
When grease or juices are present in baking etc, the grade that Silicone coated both sides is a great alternative to a greasproof Paper
